The California Corruption   Project  is an ongoing effort focusing initially on law enforcement corruption in the Central Valley and beyond. The project is a collaboration between the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley and KQED. Students assist in the reporting and writing of stories, working alongside award-winning reporter  Robert Lewis . The IRP offers a not-for-credit workshop to help students learn to use public records as the basis for investigative stories. The weekly workshop is led by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter  Thomas Peele .
